Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital is Superior I love Tuckahoe Vet Clinic. I have a Siberian, in which their grooming dept does a super job. The expertise in this clinic is phenominal. I have used other clinics and grooming salons in the past, and always had to tell them what had not been done, while their hands are out for the check. Wonderful Experience!!! I am extremely pleased with the care and service I received from the staff at Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Martin was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about my dog's condition, was compassionate, non-judgmental, and was able to solve the issue in one visit! Not to mention, the rates were absolutely fantastic- I was expecting to pay at least twice what I was charged. I will (and already have) recommended them to my pet owning friends/family and will continue taking my pets to see him!
The best!! We've used this veterinary hospital for almost 28 years, despite moving to a location 10 miles away. Dr. O'Niell is not only a dedicated veterinarian who donates his services to homeless animals, he is an oustanding veterinarian. He actually thinks!! If he has a puzzling case, he consults the literature and consults colleagues across the nation! Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital is Wonderful I would like to thank Doctors and staff at Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital. I have been here for a week from Michigan and my cat got very sick. Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital was able to schedule an appointment on the same day even though they new nothing about my cat. They trusted and treated my cat with great care. God Bless and thank you!!! Excellent, compassionate vet and staff If you see a dog or cat walking about the office, it is because he or she has been given up, abandoned, or orphaned and is being cared for by the staff until they are adopted. Dr. O'Neil is worth far more than we pay for his care. We've had several illnesses diagnosed over the years by him. He's been right the first time, every time. And I'm grateful that they don't waste my money on fancy chairs and window treatments.
Outstanding service I have been going to Dr. O'Neill since I moved to Richmond for my 3 cats, and he is the most caring, compassionate veterinarian I have ever used. He really consults with you regarding your animal's needs and doesn't prescribe anything unnecessary. I have had bad experiences with other offices who tend to over medicate. Great Vet! We used Tuckahoe Veterinary Hospital while we lived in Richmond during law school. They took wonderful care of our dogs and we highly recommend them!
GREAT VET! I live in Midlothian and I drive all the way out to the west end to take my pets to Dr. O'Niell and Dr. Taetzsch. They treat my pets as if they are the only ones in the hospital, staff is always friendly and know me by name and I love seeing all the animals they have rescued free to roam. I always leave with a smile on my face. PROS: Open for drop off since I work out of the area and pick up on my way home from work. CONS: Not open 24 hours a day.
