If you are low income, the bureaucracy they've put into place to get the "discounted rate" which is still much more expensive than planet fitness regular rate, takes exorbitant time and paperwork to discourage you. It took over 2 months to get approved, very invasive, and then redo it every year. The whole summer was practically over by the time I got approved. Why wouldn't they just give you the card and trust your paperwork is correct and if they find it isn't then they can cancel your membership.? Because they really don'... read more
