I like the Tubby's on the Chrysler service drive in Hazel Park. The staff is friendly, it's newly remodeled and it looks great. The food is always great and that hasn't changed!
8/1/2024: Still haven't fixed the monster pot holes in the parking lot. Buy some bags of cold patch and fill them in! 4/12/2024: In general, I like this Tubby's location better than the other one nearby. Better prices, they give you more breaded mushrooms and are generous with the dipping ranch sauce. Things I don't like are the large pot holes in the parking lot that never seem to get fixed, missing napkins (do you have to ask for them?) and dealing with single lane Coolidge Hwy.
A Detroit classic. Do yourselves a favor and get the chicken fajita sub with a side of tubby sauce and a curly fry. Bonus if Tony is working. He's a very professional, courteous young man who does a great job for this shop.
