Went to get a couple subs on a Monday. Place was empty no rush. I ordered the Tubbys famous and my wife got the Turkey club. They asked if we wanted them toasted and we said yes. We paid for them and left. We only live about a mile and a half away. When we got home and opened them we couldn't believe it, the buns were so small they resembled large hot dog buns. Listen, I understand everything is more expensive these days.. but 3 slices of meat on an entire sub is ridiculous. Charge more if you have too, I’ve always loved tubbys but nobody wants to eat basically bread with sauce.
I've been eating Tubby's since I was a kid. It's been a few months since I had a sub from there and I just had a craving. Unfortunately it'll be my last time I choose Tubby's. The large classic at $13+ tax had so little meat in it that it looked like a grilled cheese. The steak and cheese with a price tag of $15+ tax had about the same amount of meet that my wife's small sub had in it. I understand that prices go up but the quality doesn't need to go down.
Was first to order last to get food, ordered steak chz and turkey club cold. Turkey club was missing items, smfh
