I stopped in on a Friday at 11:30 am. Placed my order and in a matter of minutes my order was ready. The best steak and cheese sub I have had in years. The woman behind the counter was very nice and pleasant.
Not the cleanest or most inviting location. But we were only in town for a short time and this was the only one where we were traveling that day. So, we stopped. For starters, it's in a party store/gas station. There are cases of cigarettes on the shelf behind you while you wait and liquor just everywhere. Not great with kids. But the food was good. We would have enjoyed a sit down situation. They did have a high top or two but none of us wanted to stay in there longer than we needed to.
Has the potential for 5 stars, but really just disappointing until they change their practices. The bread was good, the flavor was good, but the sandwich was flat from lack of any filling. Just not worth the $10. Same price, more food elsewhere.
Most expensive bread I ever had. It was $36 for my girl and I to get a couple sandwiches, fries and drinks. She asked for no tomatoes and still got tomatoes on it. There was hardly any meat or toppings, every bite was 60% bread and left my mouth feeling dry. Never going back here again.
I had a great time here at Tubbys sub's restaurant it was good and I will come back
