Coquitlam Centre T&T is tucked away on the second floor obscurely near Walmart but because of the elevation difference of the parking lot surrounding the mall, the external entrance to the supermarket is technically ground-level. Despite its obscure location, however, every time I visit this store it’s packed with people. This location is definitely on the smaller side but densely packed full of stuff. The cakes and takeaways are delicious and of very good quality.
Its not unusual to find the tropical fruits such as dragon fruits, mangos, mangosteen, lychees, Logan, etc. here. But I was really surprised to find some tropical fruits Ive never seen in Vancouver before such as custard apples and a star apple/milk fruit here. Also if you need any orchids, sometimes you will see them still blooming on clearance for $5-$10. Just picked up a money tree for $2.91 on clearance with a nice ceramic pot.
Hello, I need to...be honest in my review. I mean this, I can't just say, it's a chain! It is more than that. It is a place that for some people.feel like home! For other, it's like, traveling to the other side of the world, on a different continent and having a tiny bit taste of a historical culture!. This part is for the management or owner!
