Third time here and I still love it! Honestly, this is my favorite omakase when it comes to quality for the price. The food is great, the service is always good, and the overall experience makes me want to keep coming back. Definitely one of my favorite spots for omakase!
All I'll say is the following: the fish don't speak that much but speak more than a lot of spots on the UWS, which is a desert when it comes to omakase experiences that source high quality fish. The toppings here can be overbearing sometimes, but all in all, it's a more chill and less pretentious experience than a lot of other places in the area!
Best sushi 🍣 Omakase experience outside Japan 🇯🇵 & we lived there! I wanted to take the Masterchef with me. As I write I keep dreaming of each exquisite piece. Omakase is traditionally crazy expensive - think hundreds 💰 but this 13 course dinner was $58 and the lunch is $48…like what?! We couldn’t get enough and our eyes closed with each piece and we didn’t speak until each morsel was digested! And we talk!!!! May take the train up just to go back!
Have been going here since it opened and it had always been great quality and flavor for a solid price. Unfortunately the quality has gone downhill significantly and is no longer worth the cost. Won’t be returning.
This was such a good omakase!! All the fishes were so delicious, smooth, and fresh! Tony was a fantastic chef- Fast, clean, and kind!
