Today is our fourth visit to Tsubame, and every experience has been outstanding. Jay has consistently remembered and accommodated our preferences. We don’t eat kohada and he provided perfect alternatives. After sharing our feedback and requests, he always improved to make sure our experience is exactly what we want. Staff and Chef are top notch. highly recommend visiting!
Unfortunately, both my husband and I got sick after eating here. My husband developed severe diarrhea, and I experienced diarrhea along with intense itching all over my body shortly at the night. This was the only meal we shared before our symptoms started, so we believe( it may, not 100% sure because it got better after 2 days so no need to visit the hospital) the fish was the cause. Had a great omakase experience at Tsubame. The fish was incredibly fresh, each piece was well-balanced, and you can tell the chef puts a lot of care into every course. I liked how the menu had a good variety without feeling too heavy, and there were a few pieces that really stood out. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving quality sushi in NYC.
The dishes were nicely designed and the vibe was great. The uni was fresh and tasty. Had a wonderful time with friend. Definitely come back next time!
