Been on deployment for months and still haven’t received tax free and other entitlements that I am authorized. Got charged for leave that was authorized travel days. It’s been MONTHS and the problem hasn’t been fixed. A damn shame that I’m on deployment, on a ship that has been at sea for over 100 days, and I have to worry about why I’m not receiving the proper pay.
I was medically retired almost a year ago and this was my last command. PS1 Williams is absolutely trash at her job. She handles people leaving and checking into the command (not very well). She loses paperwork, doesn't process paperwork on time, doesnt take the time to train her department and was hardly ever at work. Almost a year later I received a large sum for my last check. Quick and friendly best ID/Deers office I've ever been to.
This is the worst idea that the US Navy Flag leadership could have ever come up with to move all uniform sailors out of here and move to a contractor work force. Just a poor excuse to have a name attached to something that in theory is a good idea for continuity but in reality, a grossly bad idea in every stretch of the means. T
