Applied for a mortgage with my spouse on Tuesday. Emailed asking for an update on Wednesday. On Thursday, reached out to the selling realtor to state that we were still waiting on a call back from the loan officer to see if we qualified for a mortgage to place an offer. Realtor said we were denied for the mortgage and that the officer should have contacted us already.
