TRUSTED PALS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW APPLICANTS FOR INSURANCE. I don't know what happened, but as of the time of my review, Trusted Pals is not insuring new pets. This is really sad, because when I was looking for insurance (for my then 12 year old pup,) Trusted Pals made it to the top two insurance companies I was considering. I've had their insurance for over a year now. They not only have the best prices, but have covered more than any other place that I've seen. I do agree with other reviews that payout can be a slow process but it's never failed to go through and for me, I can afford the wait. They also give a 5% off for service dogs which is a bonus. They did increase the prices from last year by a few dollars but as long as it stays within budget I'll be sticking with TrustedPals.
Signing up easy; but the website is useless to track claim status!!! Downgrade a star to one, the refund takes forever, average 3 moths. It gets ridicules .
I have trustedpals insurance for my new puppy, but I'm absolutely canceling it. Though they have plans that are considerably cheaper than the rest, I have still have yet to be reimbursed for any of them. I'm in an ongoing struggle to get anything reimbursed that includes being told they don't have documents that I have uploaded to their website and sent to two different emails multiple times. Don't waste your money even if it seems like to might save some, you basically don't have insurance.
