I applied for a refi on an investment property. I was told at the time the process would be easy and the paperwork minimal. Nothing could be further from the truth. Now, 5 months later, despite diligently responding to all Trustco requests, and they were endless, I was told that the loan application has expired and I will have to pay a $1,000 late fee. The worst experience i have had in 30 years in real estate.
