Divorces are a hard, emotional and stressful to go through. Working with Berni provided me with a calming presence during a very uncertain time. Her patience with both of us while we worked through our divorce and came to terms with things was a core strength of Berni’s. I felt in the end that she was a grounded and fair arbitrator. In a truly difficult moment, my soon to be ex and I were looking for support and guidance as we navigate what for us is a totally new experience. Right from the first in depth call I felt like I was being ganged up on by the mediator, and at one point even asked what the process was since what I felt like was that there was no process.
