Our basement was starting to get mold and mildew, and I noticed that the basement was starting to feel damp and cold. We bought a dehumidifier and it helped somewhat with the dampness, but it did not solve the problem. We checked around for waterproofing contractors and we received several estimates. Trumbull Basement and Waterproofing aka D & G Waterproofing Construction came in hands down with the best estimate. A week after the walls dried in our newly “waferproofed” basement, a ton of cracks appeared all over the walls they did. Now, just a little over 5 months later, the walls have spots of dampness in them. i have tried to contact Don about it and have not received a response. when you spend almost $9k to “waterproof” your basement it better be done correctly right? so what is wrong with ours? HORRIBLE! If you'd like 2 ft of water in your basement after this company completes their work, give them a call. Expect them to NEVER answer their phones, NEVER return a call, and if they come out to correct the problem they created, expect them to start the process and leave it unfinished also to never see them again. I missed an hour and a half of work waiting for them to show up only to have them CALL instead to tell me they will not be able to make it.
