Truluck's – The first time we went we had an overall poor experience. The restaurant called us the following day and we told them the good, the bad and the ugly. They offered to have us back for a dinner on the house. It was actually a $100 gift certificate which was fine. We went a second time and contacted the manager in advance as requested to inform him of our reservation. Bottom line they failed the test. Too many other better resaurants locally I'd rather enjoy. Just my opinion.

Best service! – Oh what can I say about my experience eating here.. My boyfriend and I went to eat here for our "monthsary" celebration. Yes, I know there is no such thing, but we celebrate every month. :) Our server was fantastic! I can tell that he was one of the higher positioned server in there because of the respect the staff were giving him and he had his own business card that he gives out to his guests. Most delicious seafood ever – Made reservations for my boyfriend's bday and to say the 1/2 hr wait was seemingless compared to the wonderful experience we had. Crab slider appetizers, courtesy champagne, sweet spanish red wine and the most tender grilled salmon by far. He especially enjoyed his surprise dessert on the house and the warm bread and delictable entrees. Loved our private booth far from the kitchen and look forward to coming back soon while visiting the Austin area!

Some of each – This review is actually for the Arboretum location. This is a great place for half price happy hour drinks and appetizers. The bar is very comfortable and attractive. The service was good and professional. Of the appetizers we tried the fried calamari was by far the best. Absolutely delicious. After a couple of drinks and appetizers my wife and I went to the dining area which is also quite nice. The service there was on par with the bar. great food less than stellar service – Food was good, a bit pricey. The service was awful. I had reservations, was seated by the kitchen. Never a good thing. The waiter was less than attentive and hovered as I figured my gratuity. I had never seen that before. I would never go back, Austin has far too many fine dining options.
