My concern is with the fraud and investigation department; they have not kept their word regarding removing fraudulent charges from my account. The typical process is to immediately remove those unauthorized charges and then investigate. Promises to call with a follow-up have not been kept. It is one of the worst situations I've ever had to deal with, and I am so sorry that BBT merged with this institution.
Given the problems my Church has experienced banking with Truist, I give it a failing grade. The customer service is a joke and as far a resolutions to the problem we have been having since they became Truist it has been unimaginable. Today I was on hold for 2 hours and 40 minutes the first time then hung up on. I called back and was on another 1 hour. I hung up. This is no way to treat a customer. On June 20th I had the pleasure of being introduced to Alicia Guyton - the Vice President and Branch Leader III at the Peachtree Center Ave Truist Bank at Truist Plaza in downtown Atlanta. I ask them to print out a statement showing when the account was open and show deposits made for 12 months and they said they don't do that and they don't have a way of finding deposits made for a year. They also held a check from the United States treasury for 7 days before I could get any cash. The account had been open since 2015 I'll be closing it ASAP.
This is the worst bank I’ve ever encountered I’ve been a member for 5+ years and they treat you like trash. They don’t value their members at all and sadly I will be leaving this bank They charged me $108 dollars in overdraft fees for transactions not totaling $30 dollars What a joke I’m very offended they wouldn’t even credit them back
