DO NOT BANK WITH TRUIST! I made an account to bank with them and deposited a check. When the check was already deposited, it informed me AFTERWARDS that the funds would not be available until October 9th. It gave me no warning and no option. I now have no money to grocery shop or pay bills for over a week. I called Truist through their app, and was told to call a branch to see if I could bring the physical check to a branch so they could expedite this process. It's not a great location -- the surrounding shopping center seriously needs updating -- but the staff are always pleasant and helpful, and that's what matters.

Grecia was nice and handled our deposit transaction quickly. We then needed to make an account name change with the personal banker, so we sat and waited for him (guy at the first desk) for almost 25min until we could hear the banker on the phone asking the teller to come out and tell us the bank was closed and we needed an appointment to return. The situation made us uncomfortable so we'll be taking our business elsewhere.
