Update. Yay, 2 more years have past and I get a letter in the mail saying my credit card has been finally closed because I don't have a checking account with them. I closed that bank account and asked them to close all my accounts with them over 4 years ago. I won't put my money or business within ten miles of this inept place. 2 years earlier post.... Truist has risen to a level of either IT process/systems incompetence or human error (or both). See attached document showing emails going on since Feb 2024 of having provided insurance policy declaration as proof of insurance as requested by Truist. I have been wrongly charged $739 of a Forced Policy Placement that should have been incurred because I (and my insurance company have repeatedly provided asked for proof of insurance). This Institution should seriously look at how they staff their banks. Waiting in lines for almost an hour is beyond crazy. There is always just one or two reps helping out always in any of the locations I go in. With 10 plus people always waiting. They don't allow overtime even though it's clearly needed and you can tell they don't really care about the employees or what they have to go through.

800 number told me to call my local branch and my local branch kept transferring me to the 800 number without even listening to what I had to ask. Stuff here must be the laziest. Can’t believe they are not fired yet. Changing banks ASAP!
