Paid $67 (including tip), and the food was mid. I can’t justify a $20+ sandwich (The Brute) with minimal protein, front-loaded on the half for two bites, while the rest consisted mostly of lettuce and bread. I’ve had Italian-inspired sandwiches with more flavor and authenticity for half the price both in the Houston area and while traveling. I consider this spot overhyped and overpriced. Very kind team and delicious sandwiches! 10/10 would recommend, also in a beautiful location for friends or family to eat at the cafe.
Best sandwiches! We've used Truffle & Rye to cater lunches at our office. Our employees all raved about the sandwiches and keep asking when we can bring them in again. Plus, the owners are so kind and incredibly talented.
Great food, great atmosphere and amazing service! Definitely recommend!
