Came here years ago for hormone therapy. Spent a lot of money over a year. I ended up moving to BC. When I came back for a visit they refused me. They told me I had to live here. I told them I did live there and have been getting treatment for over a year. Well I'm back living full time in Calgary and looking for hormone replacement but seeing their pattern of not treating people anything better than a number In will take my business elsewhere. PS I paid cash, not like I was using insurance or any type of health care.
Dr. Darby is extremely knowledgeable and both friendly and professional. I was referred to this clinic by a friend and current patient. I recommend this clinic, and Dr. Darby, to others.
A friend of mine told me about Truebalance 3 years ago. They were not taking new clients at that time. In February 2024 I was able to book with Anastasiya. She listened to my concerns and we made a plan. About a month later I was feeling very unwell. I messaged her because we had switched some meds and I wondered if this was a side effect. Seeing Dr. Darby has been a health-changing experience for me. He actually listened to and believed me, which is sadly not something most doctors do. We are working on getting my hormones balanced and he's willing to tweak medications and work with me to get things right. I'm very grateful to have found this clinic and to be getting such excellent treatment.
Unfortunately my experience was well below the 4 stars on the other reviews.. Anastasiya the Nurse Practitioner, during my discovery call of “3 minutes”, was appalling abrupt and made assumptions about my expectations regarding her about her availability should I experience health issues when I started the program. Based on her assumptions she thankfully declared I was not a fit for her practice before I could respond to her. She was right. We are not a fit.
