We visited TrueVet in Sugar Grove today with our new puppy, and as first-time puppy parents, we were pretty nervous. She was having loose stools and we wanted to be sure everything was okay. I called around to a few other vets, but after speaking with TrueVet, I immediately knew this was where we wanted to go, even with the 25-minute drive, it was absolutely worth it. We recently took in a stray cat who seemed to be living in our bushes. It got too cold for us to ethically leave her outside. I attempted placing stray warming houses near the bushes, but she wouldn't enter those despite the cold. She did eat the food I left out and eventually followed me inside when invited. We have 3 other cats already, and wanted to get our new kitty (we named her Pumpkin) checked ASAP to make sure she was healthy, for her and our other cats' well-being. I went to this place and paid $55 to get a dental exam and estimate for teeth extraction and instead was told I would get an email with an estimate. I did the male dr sent me and email which I later misplaced. I asked them to provide the email so that I could find the estimate myself and they were giving me a hard time to get the email so I could look it up and send it to the non profit place that is gonna spay her for a much better price. Very lacking in empathy for animals wellbeing they only care about getting your money.
