Double Billed I recently purchased an item from this store using my debit card. At checkout I was told the debit card was declined and used another form of payment. Upon arriving home I contacted the bank only to find the charge on the debit card had in fact GONE THROUGH. A printout of the bank statement and BOTH paid receipts were not sufficient for the store "president" to issue a refund for one of the payments. She claimed my bank had never paid her. Worth the trip! This True Value store may be the most charming hardware store any where! Located in downtown Ashburnham, just driving there is fun. The town is the quintessential New England town: pretty homes, interesting architecture, beautiful views. And the hardware store fits right in, looking much like an old time general store. I remember I remember going here as a kid with my dad. They have old fashioned gas pumps out front. It's like stopping into a friend's house. They are so friendly and have all sorts of stuff to look at.
Sitka True Value Review Good store...for a small town. Customer service is good and although I'm used to shopping in a larger town with a bigger selection, Sitka True Value has a little bit of almost everything.
Clark & Barlow Hardware Co is great I have been to Clark and Barlow twice to pick up light bulbs for work. I was not looking for your basic light bulb and they had exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this store to anyone, I am sure you could find everything you needed there.
Clark & Barlow Hardware Co is bad with customer service They suck at customer service. I ordered knobs 4 weeks ago and they said they would call me to pick them up. After 4 weeks i called them and she asked if it was deleivered to my home. My crappy rep never gave me that convenient option. Then i was told the knobs were in. i asked why i didnt get a call and the lady on the phone cocked an attitude saying "because your rep isnt in today." Best pool place around Love the whole crew at Bronsons. Calvin can fix most any issue with the a pump and the whole staff is super knowledgeable. I always bring my water in for weekly testing just to make sure nothing is ever off. They make maintaining my pool such a breeze!
Satisfactory Local hardware store that also sells and services pools. Bought mine here and Dotty was very informative. She knows her stuff but watch out, she can be a little rude sometimes.
disappointment We bought a pool on may 27th and were told it would be installed in 2 to 3 weeks............. 4 weeks later we were told it could be another 3 to 4 weeks...Really??? Thanks so much for lieing just to make a sale :( I hope everyone else that bought a pool in the hieght of pool season at the hieghtest prices of the season isnt waiting untill Aug for there pool....Sure seems silly when prices of pools drop way down at that time..Thank you so much for the huge disappointment to my 5yr old daughter as well as my hu... read more
