I was so pleased with the experience that I had at the feed store . I went to get chicks and employees not only set me up with everything that I would need but also loaded it all into my car.
I needed an adapter for my portable washing machine to connect it to the kitchen sink, which had a pull-down faucet. I visited every plumbing and hardware store in Biloxi and Gulfport, including Home Depot and Lowe's, but none could assist me. Some even claimed it was impossible. However, at the True Value store on Pass Road in Gulfport, MS, Matt, the owner, immediately helped me. He is truly an expert in the hardware field. He not only took the time out to figure out the right adapters to fit my faucet, but also ensured it ... read more
Good old Hardware store
H&B True Value – Guitar Friendly Hardware Store If you are a guitarist within driving distance, make your next hardware purchase at H&B True Value. I purchased a “good condition” Hohner HW200 acoustic guitar remotely from Florida. It arrived with a 10-12 inch crack at the binding. Yikes. Someone referred me to H&B True Value at 5329 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL, because they would have “C” clamps to clamp my guitar after I glued it back together. This is where I met store personnel Jesse and then Mike. I told Jesse I nee... read more
Not qualified individuals that claim they know what they are doing. Karen was rude, doesn't care about the customer or products. She would prefer you just give her the money and don't bother her! That place should be shut down or have different management. Horrible!!!
I cant say enout about this place everyone is so friendly and Bill has saved my Butt quite a few times counting today when my shower mixer piston was broken came in showed him a couple of pictures and he knew exactly what I needed and how to do it. love this place reminds me of the hardware store I used to go to as a kid.
This store was wonderful. I just learned that they encountered a financial problem was a result of a long time employee stealing $100K over 10 years. After that the store was sold so I think that may acct for the bad service customers have posted on this site. The Zummo family was no longer owned it.
I moved to area about 2.5 years ago and just a few days in started shopping at True Value Hardware, Hockessin for all my home (and sometimes auto) needs (including my Weber gas grill bought my first week here). Wonderfully stocked with all you need at great prices, and you and no massive store to work your way through--you are in and out in minutes. Above all, fantastic staff, always someone a few steps away, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
DON'T rent their equipment. They delivered mine broken and then sued me for it. The manager (Linglestown) is a disrespectful bully who doesn't listen and then lies about anything that doesn't suit him. His employees, including delivery driver, do the same. Terrible experience from start to finish. At all costs, go elsewhere for whatever you need!!!!!
