This place is huge! Lots of stuff to peruse and items of needs.
If I was only allowed to 5-star one single business in my whole life, "Ameses" would be a contender. Helpful staff is what makes a hardware store great, and you can't get any more helpful (or friendly, or funny, or kind) than the people who work here. One time I was price hunting online for a gallon of a specific wood preserver. I spent about 20 minutes finding the best price ($40), but decided to stop at Ames' on the way home just to check.
