Not impressed with the sides at all, the pulled pork was satisfactory and the burnt ends were edible...
I was anxiously looking forward to returning to the Melissa HEB and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and Christy was a true example of Texas hospitality! I'll make plans for my next trip.
This was my second time visiting the Melissa HEB with my mom. Both times, we were incredibly satisfied with our meals. If you get nothing else, get the collard greens and fried okra! Cristy, who has been there both visits, is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. She's one of the reasons we will continue to go back!
I finally tried True Texas BBQ wasn't happy I got the pulled pork wasn't true pulled pork it was more liked a sloppy Joe sandwish as for the sweet tea was good. The price was okay. The staff was nice and the place was clean. Hope the rest of the menu tastes better than that pulled pork.
