The technician, Melvin, called ahead to let me know he could arrive earlier than scheduled, which was really convenient. I was quoted $1,000 by the technician to clean 11 vents, with an estimated completion time of about one hour. When I mentioned that I needed some time to decide, the technician became visibly irritated and stated "you are funny guy" I was then charged an $80 inspection fee, despite no work being performed.
