Mike (franchise owner) has been in biz for 30 years and is an integral member of the Kanata business community…and he’s a really nice guy. And while HH can be a little more expensive than the big box competitors, he’s got a little bit of everything AND it’s all about supporting local! When you drop by, don’t forget to say hi to ‘Grumpy Face’ at the front cash…Mike admits the old doll might benefit from a daily happy pill, but she’s is a long time fixture in the store!

I always give Trudel’s Home Hardware the first crack at fulfilling my hardware requirements. They almost always have exactly what I need and the service is excellent. It’s great to have them in the neighbourhood and so much faster and more convenient than the big box stores.
Caution when ordering…even in person! I recently visited Trudel Home Hardware to purchase Purina Horse Feed, which unfortunately wasn’t in stock. That wasn’t a problem—they offered to place an order for me, and I appreciated that. Before ordering, I asked about the price. The cashier kindly looked it up and quoted me a much better price than what I usually pay locally, which convinced me to order six bags.
