I rented a home on Donner Lake to celebrate with family for a 50th wedding anniversary. One and half hrs prior to check in I received an email message that the house could not be occupied because a tree fell on it. I went to the location 2 hrs after the message and there was no tree that fell on the property. This was all communicated to me by the parent company Vacasa (the relocation department) and not the local office in Truckee. We had a great time during our stay. The rental was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked with everything you need and had a beautiful view.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in King’s Beach. It was spacious, spotless, and in a perfect location—easy to get to and just a short walk to the little village. My husband does the Tahoe swim every year, and this year we brought my in-laws, so we needed a bigger place. A+++ northstar in village Ignore other comments about unit cleanliness. Owners have responded and the unit was spotless, linens and towels were crisp and clean. Hot tubs worked great. Parking was seamless. Beautiful huge deck overlooking the rink/stage and forest. Everything was great. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures too (esp. Kitchen area). Splurge and get this place and you won't be disappointed!
