Convenient quiet and well appointed condo in North Lake Tahoe area convenient to ski areas and restaurants. Very quiet and well managed unit.
Wonderful stay at Peace Among the Pines! We had a fantastic stay at the Peace Among the Pines condo. The unit was spotless upon check-in and smelled fresh and clean. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made arrival stress-free. I was genuinely impressed by how well equipped the condo was. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was great to find thoughtful extras like dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent provided. From the kids: There were many secret places the grown-ups could not access b/c the grown-ups were too big (and fat) to fit. And there were many fun passageways we could use to spy on the grown-ups. We especially liked the loft for kids (only!) that we used as our meeting room. We loved the bunk beds and wish there were more of them! I rented a home on Donner Lake to celebrate with family for a 50th wedding anniversary. One and half hrs prior to check in I received an email message that the house could not be occupied because a tree fell on it. I went to the location 2 hrs after the message and there was no tree that fell on the property. This was all communicated to me by the parent company Vacasa (the relocation department) and not the local office in Truckee.
