We stayed here for a bit of a stay-cation here in the city. Great location we found street parking and once we were there plenty of places to walk for dinner and drinks. Room was spacious. We were on the front of the building on the 10th floor so had a pleasant view of the library and church. Front desk attendees on check in and check out were very pleasant and helpful. We will be back!

Me and a guest stayed at Tru by Hilton over the weekend, which turned into a frustrating and violating experience. We left our room Saturday, Morning and returned later that evening to find our room had clearly been plundered with items missing. During the so-called “investigation,” we found out the front desk clerk let someone into our room without checking any form of ID. That is a serious security breach and completely unacceptable. I STAYED HERE BEFORE AND WAS VERY SATISFIED THIS TIME I WAS NOT . THIS WAS A 2 DAY STAY THIS TIME , I LEFT TO GO DROP SOME THINGS OFF AND CAME BACK TO STUFF MISSING FROM MY ROOM . THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT ONLY GUEST KEYCARDS WAS USED BUT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH A KEYCARD AND I KNOW FOR SURE I DID NOT STEAL MY OWN STUFF ?! ITS FINE LESSON LEARNED WILL NOT BE STAYING AGAIN !

My room was dirty. The cleaning rags were still in it and there were dried contacts and long black hair in the bathroom. No trash cans anywhere and empty hand soap! I had to valet as there was a tornado happening as I pulled in. Wish I would have known it was $55!!! The end of the street was blocked off with cars so there was no way to get through and I had to back down the street in the dark and the rain. Definitely not up to Hilton standards! When I first arrived to check in, there were 2 employees fighting and yelling at each other and security had to escort them out. This happened again the next morning with the same people too. There is NO parking. They only have $55/night valet parking on the side of the street. I had to park at the Kiener Plaza Parking Garage which is a 17 minute walk from the hotel. Most of the walk is through a bad part of town so be prepared to walk quickly. There is NO pool either. Room looked okay but there is no microwave, dresser, or ... read more
