Got here for check in at 4pm. Was told that my room would be ready in just a few minutes. Ended up waiting in the lobby for an hour to get our room keys. Disappointed watching other guests walk in for check in and get their keys right away. There are very few employees for service, and initially disappointed with the service at check in. Very little parking, cannot park a truck and trailer safely. Rooms are very basic, location is not great.
I am a disabled USN veteran that was supposed to stay at this place for 3 days. 24 hours before my reservation I called and explained that my truck had broken down and I could not make the trip up with my service dog. They said I needed to cancel 14 DAYS in ADVANCE and tried to charge me nearly $700. I called the 888 number and they told me they were able to cancel it.
