So clean! No air conditioning in the hallways so it's a little stale and hot when u step off the elevator, but dont let that reflect the room! Very comfortable! Mini fridge in room, microwave downstairs in the lobby. Don't skip breakfast! It's delicious! Breakfast till 10am. The employees are so nice and helpful.
After a horrible and discriminatory experience at another hotel nearby, I turned to Hilton for help. I opened my Hilton app and called the customer service number to confirm that my service animal would actually be welcomed. The representative on the phone was incredibly empathetic and quickly helped me secure a room at the Tru by Hilton. The staff here could not have been more welcoming. I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE BUT NEVER AGAIN! The hotel cancelled my PREPAID RESERVATION FOR 2 NIGHTS ( LAST NIGHT UNTIL TOMMORROW), when I called to find out why and reinstall RESERVATION for tonight. I was lied to. They told me that Hilton Honors program canceled my room, it was not the case. THE INDEPENDENT TRU HOTEL MANAGER DID, they kept my money and refused to honor the continued reservation for tonight 09/22/25. Seldom does a hotel bring an enthusiastic smile to my face, but our stay at this TRU hotel on Sept 16th was awesome!! The hotel design is the perfect mix of simplicity, comfort and community! LOVE the inviting lobby area and NOT fiddling with a microwave or coffee maker in the room! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and pleasant. The lower two floors are pet-friendly, so if you prefer a room without pet history, they're happy to accommodate a room on a higher floor.
