TRS used to be a great shop when the old owners still owned it. Mike is a joke and when you question anything he talks over you and cuts you off and get irritated very quickly. I paid 1800 for a rebuilt trans. 5,000 miles later the differential blew out. Not only did they not warranty it (first mechanic I spoke to said it would likely be warrantied aince its a FWD car), they just fixed it when i clearly stated to call me with a quote BEFORE fixing anything. if you want your car fixed right the first time, then these are the guys to go to!! my car was in the first time fixed the first time, done right!! the car came back without grease and oil in the car like most shops do. All the guys working there know exactly what thier doing, i myself have had 2 of my cars serviced by them with NO problems at all. Ive also had 2 of my brothers have there car serviced there, again no problems fixede the first time! GREAT GUYS, GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

We have taken our automobiles to TRS Auto for the past few years. We like the fast, reliable service. Prices are reasonable and they have great customer service. We drive past 20 different auto repair shops on the way to TRS. The extra miles driven are certainly worth it! We highly recommend you take your vehicles to TRS Auto as we recommend TRS to all of our friends. After taking our cars to other auto repair shops that provided shoddy service and high prices, TRS is the only place we will take our cars. We won't go anywher... read more

"BEST REPAIR SHOP" – I have been taking my Cars there for over 10 years & will continue to. This is the one shop that doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. TRS Automotive is the most reliable shop on the south side who stands by their work & even gives a 1 year warranty .

Charged $500+ for $200 after-market part! – TRS Automotive was honest and service-oriented when Don and Jerry owned it a few years ago. No more. The current operator overcharges customers on parts costs, and he and his one young mechanic (I don't know about the others) give a side of very BAD attitude when customers question them about repairs.
