Loving Care For Pets They took me in at short notice when I called and told them our cat was injured. The doctor was very compassionate and told us exactly what care would cost and our best options for our cat. The next day the vet who cared for him called to ask how he was doing. They will have an new facility soon and i would recommend them highly.
For them to neuter my dog they said $317 not including pain meds. My vet in Sparta charges $90. If money grows on trees this is the place for you. If not, I'd find another vet who will not nickel and dime you for unnecessary tests/treatment.

Through my experience doing dog rescue, I have found that, sadly, Troutman Animal Hospital puts money first and animals second. Definitely not what you want from a veterinarian's office. I would NOT recommend them to any responsible pet owner.
Just showed up to my appointment with 1 of my 4 dogs. We moved recently from out of state and this was his first time there. He is not a friendly dog at the vet. When I called up I explained to the receptionist what is going on. He needed additional tests from what our vet in Florida ran. I sent over his recent blood work and had my vet in Florida send over ALL of his history. They listened to everything I had to say and took all my advice and precautions about THIS dog seriously. They are the best....I drive from Hickory because of the care my dogs and cat receive.
Dr. Novasad is genuinely compassionate with the care she gives. My kitties give her a big shout out. Especially our newest, Hope. Dr. Novasad gave her a second chance at life.
Troutman Animal Hospital is amazing! We have an active Weimaraner and everyone there is very patient and loving with her. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
