Just went to Trout Camp for a Moose hunt and fishing. Had a wonderful time. The hunting area is as remote as I dreamed about, only accessible by float plane. Float plane ride was awesome. The guides were very knowledgeable on Moose, since it is what they survive on during the winter along with fishing. On our first trip ever to Reindeer Lake in June 2022, my son and I had the good fortune of meeting Trey and Melissa Aars who were guests at the time. Fast forward to 2023 with Trey and Melissa as the new owners for my son’s and my second trip this past June as well as my just concluded solo trip end of August. My son and i went here for a fishing getaway. We had a great time. Caught a lot of fish.The environment is amazing. The staff were great. Food was great. Guides were very knowledgable .This is an amazing place to get away from busy life and relax.
Just spent a week at Reindeer Lake Trout Camp with the new owners Trey and Melissa Aars, in upper Saskatchewan. This was not a trip, it was an adventure. Well off the beaten tracks. Good food, lodging, and great fishing. Had a Native guide named Steve. He was the best. He cooked us a shore lunch every day that was fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about the place.
Do NOT go to this camp. One of our group members came down with cancer and was not able to go. Robert said he would have his refund back to him by the end of July. Still haven't received any money. Robert runs a shady business. I'd give him 0 stars if I could
