Good experience overall. The girl that checked us in was knowledgeable. Would do it again
Canceled reservation a few days after making it and they kept deposit. Impossible to get on the phone.
Rented the 2019 Winnebago Sapphire they have advertised. Fantastic experience and really friendly staff on site. Highly recommend using them and will do so again in the future. If I had to list one issue and it was a minor issue ... was their call answering service. Made it slightly difficult to communicate to the people you needed to speak with and they failed to relay a message. Outside of that fantastic through and through.
We rented from this company two years in a row to go to a festival in Miami. The first year they gave us a very nice Mercedes RV that was comfortable and great. But the air conditioned stopped working when we were at the festival. They sent someone down to fix it since we couldn't sleep inside due to the heat. The repairman said that it looked like they had never cleaned the generator (apparently they're supposed to be maintained regularly) and that's why it stopped working. Our rental with Tropical RV Adventures was great. This was our first time renting, driving, and backing up an RV, so we were a bit nervous. The friendly staff, however, walked us through every step and really took the time to explain everything clearly. They are well set up for all kinds of customers, with a nice selection of RVs.
