Called Tropical Fence co. To make an appt .to install a 4 ft black commercial grade chain link fence. She told me that they would call back and make it , I never heard back from them . I call another co (Eagle Fence) and they did a great job. So that’s who I recommend.
Awful experience. Number one issue was when I was getting my estimate. I told the guy there were buried lines (invisible dog fence and cable/internet) . He ignored my and dug down anyway. What do you know... He cut my dog fence and cable/internet lines. How about call before you dig. Next it took over 2 months and constant bothering to get the quote back. Finally the quote was over $1500 more than a comparable quote. Not to mention the staff appeared incompetent and had poor customer service. I recommend to avoid this compan... read more
start out very good but soon turn sour pay the 50 percent and promise that the fence will be up a soon never hear from them again. keep calling but got the round around even was told that they was waiting on permit but check after a week of my down payment and non permit filed. said the city was not telling me the truth but I also had three other permits at the same time so I know that they were lying to me it got so bad for time to delay the fence that they forgot which house the fence was going up on and marked the water,c... read more
Started out great, finished poorly.... Contacted Tropical fence as a professional referral. Mike was excellent, made a number of trips to the house to get the quote right. Put 50% down and then heard nothing for several weeks. Called and got 3 different stories on the same call. Appears to take a while to get permits here, so I can live with that delay. When the installers showed up, they put in a full day and left an excellent fence.... The only problem was that they cut two main sprinkler lines when they installed the main... read more
This was not the only company we got a quote from and ultimately went with them due to them being more knowledgeable on guidelines from the city. We are on a canal property and they were the only ones that told us what our options were due to the regulations. They quoted us for different kinds of fencing and even worked with us when we changed our mind a couple of weeks before install. They kept us updated on everything. Job was done in two days and it looks amazing! We are pleased 1000%.
4' Concave Stair Stepped up to 6' Privacy w/ Lattice Top
We called this company to have them come out for a quote on a fence for our dogs. They confirmed an appointment time of 9:30 a week in advance. When we called the day of to confirm they told us it would be between 11 and 12pm. We both work and cannot wait an extra 2 hours because they decided to change the time on us the day of the appointment. I would not recommend this company unless you want to wait around on their schedule.
