Recommend the rooms, location and staff. We use Tropic Towers to work purposes and the staff are great and rooms are just want you need for a night or longer. Plenty of rooms for the staff to park their vehicles without worry. If you havent already then give them a try definitely worth the stay. Being able to do your own cooking and laundry in your apartments is a must esepcially when our staff are away and they have this here in the apartments.

TL;DR While the location is convenient and the apartments are spacious, I found reception to be incompetent and rude. Save yourself the hassle and stay in an actual hotel. During a trip in July with family, I stayed here for one night, then checked out as we had an overnight boat tour to the Great Barrier Reef. We then returned for two more nights to finish the rest of our stay in Cairns.
