I planned on purchasing a house from this builder in Frisco, TX and was pre qualified prior to COVID. I put down $5,000 in earnest money. The employee who worked for them told my real estate agent and I that we could get our earnest money back if we didn’t go through with the purchase. After COVID the guidelines for loans changed and I no longer qualified to purchase the home. This builder refuses to pay back my earnest money.
