I was assigned Dr Diaz after changing insurances and will definitely be looking for a new primary care ASAP. He’s very nice but seems unengaged and doesn’t maintain eye contact for long, he kept looking at the floor when we were having a conversation. My main issue is with the office. I was referred to an ophthalmologist who doesn’t even work with the eye issues I’m having. I called the office to get a new referral and never received a call back, even a week later. Called Trophy Club Family Medicine to get more information on the practice- if they are accepting new patients & to confirm that their practice takes my insurance. I got a very short, blunt, dry response from whoever is working the front desk and instead of a warm greeting with helpful information, I was told that I would not be getting an answer over the phone if they accept my insurance and that I could provide my email address and submit pictures of my insurance card (front and back) and that'll let the office know if the... read more

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this family practice. I’ve called multiple times trying to get a referral processed and have left several voicemails with no follow-up. I understand they have a stated two-week turnaround time for referrals, but the issue is the complete lack of communication. No one calls back to acknowledge that the referral was received or is even being processed, which is extremely frustrating—especially when patients have upcoming appointments that depend on it.
