We tried six items: paratha with veg curry, karampodi chicken, veg Manchurian, onion rava dosa, double egg noodles, and tres leches cake. Out of all these, only the paratha with veg curry and the tres leches cake were good. The noodles tasted okay, but all three of us found a lot of eggshell pieces in them, which was unacceptable. Worst atmosphere for dine in. Seating is worse. People smoke inside , still would have not minded if the food is good. But it was not. Ordered a Manchuria fried rice and it was worst. There was too much salt and no spice and when I asked to add some salt the desk staff said it’s not their task. They said that’s how they make it and asked to eat it or leave. I am not sure if they are the ones always but I came on December 30 at 11. I will never step inside again.

The food we ate was so delicious! We had pani puri, chicken 65, dosa, and mutton biryani. It was so nostalgic to stand at a live counter for pani-puri. I could cry from the joy! The rest of the food was impeccable. The mutton in the biryani was so well cooked - soft, falling off the bone. I will definitely come again! This place is definitely a wonderful Indian place, with food that’s catered to Indians - Spicy, just like home.

Triveni Express is one of the best places in Charlotte if you’re craving authentic Indian food. The menu has an amazing variety—from crispy dosas and flavorful biryanis to classic street food and fresh Indian sweets. *Ambience* The food is good here most of the time. Tried almost all the items and its an okayish one, not much to complain but the main concern is the hygiene and neatness. It doesnt even cost more than 300-400$ to clean and upgrade the blinds, windows and trash cans. They are soo dirty and so untidy.. just make it more upscaled like utsav or desi district and it will be a good experience for dine in or make it just a to go place.. Hope the management consider this and make these changes.
