I saw Dr. Barrueco for the first time after being referred for follow-up on vision and dry eye concerns. I was so impressed with how thorough and thoughtful both he and his staff were. They took the time to review my history, medications, and concerns, and walked me through a variety of tests (with great explanations) until they pinpointed the issue. I got to my appointment 5 minutes early only to hear the fire alarm going off and the lobby emptying out through the front door…30 minutes later we could go back in…even though there was a 30 minute delay I was in and out in 20 minutes…Dr Barrueco got me in, and I got a thorough exam. He is professional, answers all your questions and listens. I would definitely recommend him.
Great Doctor, outstanding experience
Dr. Barrueco treated me, in lieu of my regular ophthalmologist, for follow-up after my glaucoma procedure the previous day. Not only did Dr. Barrueco know little about my surgery, but he also didn't know about the duration of the time I needed to take my medication. I also never had a doctor tell me that the surgery I had was reputed to be very painful! By the way, I had no pain whatsoever.
