Great shop. Stopped in and talked with a young man, I assume is the son of the owner. He was working with his Grandmother, (who was also working.) As a guy thats been buy and selling cards for a long time I was highly impressed with his knowledge, how he carried himself and how professional and personable he was. Bought some cards and definetly will be back. Very impressive young man. Kuddos to his parents.
It pains me to write this about a local card shop, but I feel it’s only fair to others who may be considering making the trip like I did. The staff is very friendly, but the pricing is beyond unreasonable. I understand everyone needs to make a profit, but these markups are extreme. For example, the Shintaro Fujinami card is worth about $2, yet they’re asking $125. A Wiseman auto that typically sits in the bargain bin is priced at over $100.
