My appointments were consistently canceled without notifying me because the "provider was unavailable." They could have told me that when I was making the appointment, in office, based on the provider's schedule. Bedside manner was lacking.

I saw Dr. Stannard after my pcp ran testing checking for rheumatology issues and bloodwork came back over 5 times the normal level and enduring months of pain, nausea and fatigue to the point of being almost bedridden. I was told that many perfectly healthy people still have positive tests, despite my symptoms, and that the bloodwork would need to be higher for them to make a diagnosis. My mother has been seeing Dr. Marquardt since 2016/2017. Today, 07/27/2026, my mother called requesting a refill of pain medicine for her severe rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Jalen, who stated that he is Dr. Marquardt's new medical assistant, said no one could prescribe a refill while she is out of the office (until August 8th or so). I had a frustrating experience with this office due to their lack of understanding of how referrals work—especially with TRICARE. I was denied an appointment because they insisted on a “medical referral,” even though I already had a valid referral from my primary care provider, which under TRICARE functions as both the medical and insurance authorization.
