Come early or come later afternoon to avoid waiting for parking, parking pass was $10 and unique from the forestry pass, tons of areas for sitting and enjoying the lake and the view, only saw one porta pot
Beautiful view of Mt. Hood lakeside. Hard to find a place to set up a picnic and parking
Have always loved this place. Beautiful scenery and view of Mount Hood. Plenty of picnic spots. Fishing ok. Peaceful if you get there early. Board walk is not in good condition. A lot of broken boards. Not safe for strollers wheelchairs or walkers. Unfortunately a section that was closed for years for construction, but reopened end of last summer, is closed again. No warning until you reach it. Very disappointing they can't get the funding to repair this beautiful place.
