Beautiful lake, beautiful hiking.
Get there early! 1 - for parking - it was a total breeze! 2 - this picture perfect view of stillness! Really enjoyable whether you're on shore or on the water.
Mind boggling that having a Oregon state park disabled vet pass, federal disabled vet pass, and even a washington state disabled vet pass, and I'm required to pay $10 for a day use area. Just another way veterans and disabled veterans are getting screwed these days. Happy 250 vets! You now don't have access to the lands you fought for.
