This is just for the restaurant: The outdoor garden setting is stunning, and the service was really excellent. The food, however, was entirely unremarkable and certainly did not justify the very high price point. P.S. it’s a lesser issue but for me the faux wood tables and chairs in the garden also cheapened the feel of the very costly experience.
Really great meal. Everything was super tasty and flavorful. We got the croquettes, seared ahi, scallops, and burger. The cod wasn’t as good as the rest of the meal. It was cooked nicely but wasn’t a very flavorful plate. If it’s warm the outdoor seating area is very cute and dog friendly. They even have a dog menu!
This is one of the best restaurants in Mendocino. We have visited them many times. I think they must have a professional shef and he/she prepares many delightful dishes.
Our server Jen was welcoming and very helpful - for example, suggesting a half portion salad to save room for other dishes we wanted to try. The food was expertly seasoned/ prepared and everything tasted top notch. We were full and happy at the end of the meal, the perfect evening out!
