I stopped by on a long walk for a homemade energy bar, and happened to notice the hot cross buns. The woman who had baked them was kind enough to provide a tray and a bag, as I was on foot. It took an hour to walk home, but the taste of the buns was worth every step -- the spices, the fruit, the icing. Simply wonderful ! We'll be back again next Easter. Thank you.

Best bakery in Ottawa with the nicest staff and delicious baked goods!
Truly the best bakery in town. I admire the layout the kind staff and the way the food is presented. It's definitely got the Chelsea freaks here. Im one. So no one can tell me that there's a problem in the bakery when you are supplying the gluten free person food and its got to be perfect. If not its just wasted. So how many gluten free people are there in Ottawa? Alot. As a former nurse i see it. nice atmosphere due to the florist shop. know how bakeries have bakers who get up at 5 am every day to sell freshly baked goods? this isn't one of those places, I don't think. they're selling day or 2 day old bread for full price. kinda...rude, somehow?
