Live in tower 2 for about a year. Below are my personal experience. Pros: Cheapest rent in Fairfax for the given square feet. Great location with all buses to wherever you want to go. Decent room quality for innovated unit. I don’t have any problems with bugs. Upgraded laundry room. Surprisingly, the water quality is pretty good for old building. Don’t trust any positive reviews, take a look for yourself before moving in. It’s not nearly cheap enough for what you’ll pay mentally. - Tower 2 always smells like trash. The trash chutes are always overflowing. - In the summer, apartments can reach 85+ degrees. The AC does not work. - Any packages left outside your door for over 4 hours are almost always stolen. - There is no security except when the police are called almost weekly for one thing or another, so the stairwells are pissed in and the trash smell is overwhelmin... read more
It's dirty and the parking is Krazy. Get what ya pay for!
In my apartment, we waited 10 days just for the sink to be unclogged in the washing machine. The washing machine is broken, I have to pay 25 dollars and go downstairs. How many days have we been waiting for repairs? The elevator is not enough. During school hours, it took us 45 minutes to go down. I have never seen such a filthy building; it feels like a refugee camp. Every day there are problems. The management is very weak, negligent, and only focused on money.
