I've been a residential customer for the past 3 years. Trilex took over the contract from my previous monitoring service. Their prices are much more reasonable and they have a local presence. I have found their support to be excellent as well. I recently had a technical issue after switching my phone service from Rogers to Primus. Even though Primus voip is not officially supported to work with home alarms, the technician went out of his way to resolve my issue.
We've now been with Trilex for over 10 years, and they have truly been great. We have only needed them to visit once to repair a door contact; the techs were courteous, respectful, and very knowledgeable. Trilex's security monitoring always follows up on an alarm via a phone call and with an email report (so far, all false alarms usually by us!). I have no hesitation in recommending Trilex to any potential customers. They have provided security services for my home in Ottawa for over 7 years. During that time, I moved to a new home and they made the switch over and installation very easy. The company staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly to deal with.
