Omg. What an amazing place. Camp on the river, plenty of room. Host Liz is lovely as are the volunteers. You can do a self drive tour around the farm. Amazing place. Will be back for sure.
Trilby Station was peaceful and relaxing camping by the Darling River. The red sand and being one with nature is my absolute happy place. Well equipped station for camping. We will book our campsite again by the river and stay longer. Staff are friendly and helpful. The mud map drive was a great adventure and Dunlop Station was another great visit. Was very interesting to see the old homesteads on both properties and the store on Dunlop Station. Was lovely to chat to Liz, she's an amazing woman.
What a lovely stay we had at Trilby Station. Liz the host is so welcoming and she provides a lot of information about the history of the station and also about day to day life on the station. Highly recommend. We also had dinner and breakfast while we were there and the food was lovely.
Loved out two night stay in Mitchells Hut on Trilby Station. The river is beautiful, the peace and quiet calming, the accommodation everything we needed. Liz is a generous and unflappable host - go get yourself a taste of the outback at Trilby Station.
