Don’t go there!!! My GP doctor said go to an emergency room. You need to be seen immediately. I went to Bethesda because a year ago I received good care. But now it’s like being in slow motion train wreck. Waited 30 min just to be seen by someone who took blood pressure and asked symptoms. At that point she should have run back to get a doctor. I recently took my wife to the North Bethesda Emergency last Friday as she was experiencing severe pain in her right pelvic area. We arrived around 9:00 AM and didn’t leave until 5:00 PM. During that entire time, they only performed one ultrasound after about three hours and left her lying on the bed without offering even water. My daughter and I were traveling home and she had been sick all morning throwing up for hours and hours and hours to the point where she was getting dehydrated and I decided that we were going to go to the emergency room so we went to the closest one which turned out to be Bethesda North emergency department. Avoid this hospital at all costs. Drive the extra 10 minutes if you can to any other hospital. In fewest words possible - you’ll wait 5 hours to get in with a doctor, spend 5 hours in a room alone, and the doctor (Dr. Teddy?) will visit you for 2 minutes and offer no help and ask you no questions.
